in collaboration with the pacific design center, AGOGO III will open february 20th from 7-10pm at the pdc.

Join us in this exploration of artistic vision, where every piece tells a story and every artist offers a glimpse into the beauty of their imagination. Together, let us revel in the boundless possibilities that art presents, as we embrace the emotions and insights it evokes within us.

In the vibrant setting of the Pacific Design Center during the Art Frieze Fair, we are thrilled to present an extraordinary exhibition featuring over 50 artists from local, national, and international backgrounds. This diverse gathering showcases a dynamic spectrum of artistic expression, ranging from figurative works to pop art, sculptures, surrealism, and abstract expressionism—each piece a testament to the variety, depth, and breadth of every artistic vision.

This exhibition celebrates the exploration of different mediums and subject matters, reflecting the boundless creativity that defines the human experience. Each artist has tapped into the deepest parts of themselves, channeling their imagination into works that are not only visually captivating but also deeply personal and unique. The beauty of art lies in this artisan expression, where skill meets creativity, allowing for a profound connection between the artist and the observer.

Art is a vast and limitless realm, encompassing a myriad of emotions and experiences. It has the power to heal, inspire, and provoke contemplation. Through this collection, we invite viewers to feel a spectrum of emotions—joy, sadness, anger, and reflection—reminding us of the richness of our existence. Without art, where does our consciousness go? It challenges us to rise above the ordinary, to break free from the habits that often distract us from our inner potential.

In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, this exhibition serves as a reminder of the transformative power of creativity. It encourages us to harness our inner energy and create something extraordinary from nothing, contributing to humanity in unique and uplifting ways. As we celebrate the diverse expressions of these artists, we also celebrate the shared human experience, recognizing that in our differences lies our greatest strength.

A renowned former photorealist painter, Standish became inspired by the spontaneity of Abstract Expressionism, the transcendence of Abstract Spiritualism, and the nuances and power of pure color in Color Field Painting, and has focused solely on abstraction ever since.

His artworks can be found in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, JP MORGAN CHASE, Weisman Foundation, Lancaster Museum of Art and History, Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, Crocker Art Museum, Laguna Art Museum, Louis K. Meisel, Larry and Marilyn Fields, Patricia Arquette, Norwest Venture Partners, and BRYANT/ STIBEL, along with numerous other acclaimed collections.
