Throughout history paint has been at the service of the artist. Freed Painting is an attempt at turning things around and allowing paint the opportunity to assert its own identity. By taking paint off the canvas surface and projecting it out into three-dimensional space, a whole new world opens.

When you find a new way of expressing yourself, it’s exciting. When you realize that your exploration is unveiling possibilities beyond your imagination, that sparks enthusiasm that motivates you to share what you have found with the world. This aspect of “possibility” is a core value of my work. The purpose of my work is to facilitate human spiritual evolution. It is my hope that when viewers see my Freed paintings they experience that essence of “possibility” and are inspired.
