Surface Spectrum is a multi-surface showcase featuring 12 artists from around the world in celebration of Gestural Painting, Textile Design, Art Brut, Earth Works, and Abstraction. You will see a dynamic showcase of texture and its relationship to painting, sculpture and surface.

Curator of both Surface Spectrum and Radiant Spectrum, Mark Murphy has produced many thematic art exhibitions celebrating contemporary and narrative art traditions since 1998. Examples include: Trenton Doyle Hancock, EMIT exhibition at Ringling Museum, Dialogue, the Fine Art of Conversation at the Santa Monica Museum of Art, In the Land of Retinal Delights at the Laguna Art Museum, and Behind Photographs by Tim Mantoani at the Museum of Contemporary Art, La Jolla.
